England vs India 2018: Alastair Cook's Wicket Delights Ishant Sharma at Lord's

The Indian speedster, Ishant Sharma provided the second breakthrough of the day for Team India at Lord’s. It was an absolute corker of a delivery from the lanky pacer that left the opening batsman of England, Alastair Cook speechless. Ishant charged at the southpaw Cook around the wicket while hitting the deck hard. The ball squared up a bit, and Cook got a faint edge that deposited into the gloves of Dinesh Karthik.
The experienced Three Lions’ opener Cook could only manage to score 21 while facing 25 deliveries. It was the first wicket of the day for the lanky pacer of India.

India got the second breakthrough after the four deliveries when Mohammed Shami trapped Keaton Jennings Infront of the wickets.
England is presently trailing by a score of 30 runs. The debutant Ollie Pope returned to the pavilion after scoring 28 off 38 deliveries with the skipper Joe Root batting on 11 off 43 balls.
It is the third day of the second Test match which is going on at the Mecca of Cricket, Lord’s. The first day of the game got thoroughly washed away following the heavy downpour.
In the second day, England opted to bat first after winning the toss. Team India once again displayed a mediocre performance as they wrapped up their innings on 107.

It was once again a splendid performance from the mainstay of England, James Anderson. He took the five-for while giving just 20 runs away.
From the Indian Team, off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was the top scorer who amassed 29 runs. Apart from, skipper Virat Kohli scored 23. The other batsmen of the team displayed what they did at Edgbaston in the series opener.
Earlier, India opted to go with the two changes. Cheteshwar Pujara came in the team for Shikhar Dhawan while as Kuldeep Yadav is playing his debut Test in place of speedster Umesh Yadav.
