England vs India 2018: Ranveer Singh Frustrated As Weather Plays Spoilsport At Lord's

The weather of England takes a U-turn after some gusts of heatwaves enveloped in the last few weeks. London is enjoying the extended summer. However, on the first day of the Lord’s Test, rain braced the city after a long halt.

As the rain joined the party, the first day of the much-awaited clash between India and England ended up in disappointment. The first day got washed entirely out that too without the toss.

From the statistical point of view, the last time an entire day’s play was washed out in a Lord’s Test was in May 2001. England was playing against Pakistan when rain halted the 1st day’s play.

For the next four days are concerned, there would not be an early play. However, play can be extended if weather permits so.
India and England are playing the second Test of pivotal five-matches Test series in the mecca of cricket.

Earlier, England got a comprehensive victory over India by a margin of 31 runs. Apart from Virat Kohli, Indian batsmen displayed a poor shown and let down the expectations of their fans.
Although Indian skipper, Virat Kohli amassed mammoth 200 runs in the Edgbaston Test, he did not get any support from his team. Excluding Virat Kohli, Indian team could only attain 214 runs in both the innings. Virat Kohli scored his maiden ton on the English soil while as it was 22nd ton overall from him.

The famous Bollywood actor, Ranveer Singh Bhavnani took Instagram to post his photo taken at Lord’s Cricket Stadium. He captioned his image with the words, “ Rain Rain go away.” He pleads England weather to get better.
It seems that Bollywood icon is impatiently waiting for the second Test match to get the start. Ranveer is an avid fan of cricket and Team India who keeps a particular reservation to attend the games from his busy schedule.
