After calling his skipper a leader, Suresh Raina believes Virat Kohli is a perfect example for the definition of the leader. He termed the knock of his fellow cricketer as “fantastic” one.

The tweet of Suresh Raina reads as:

“Leader is the one who knows the way, goes the way & shows the way… and you are setting a perfect example of that! Fantastic inning brother @imVkohli. ???”

Earlier in the Trent Bridge Test, Virat Kohli missed his hundred by just three runs when he failed to read an Adil Rashid’s googly. The India captain went for a big shot that took a thin edge on the shoulder of the bat and Stokes did the rest formalities at the slips.

However, things were different in the second innings. Kohli assured he would not fell victim to nervous nineties this time. He scored a brilliant 103 in the second inning and put India on the verge of a big win in Nottingham.

From India, Cheteshwar Pujara returned to form after putting an eeyorish show in the second Test. He added 113 runs of the partnership along with his skipper to ensure a lead of over 500. Hardik Pandya scored a quickfire fifty as well.

After giving a mammoth target of 521, India invited England to bat on for the tricky nine overs of the last session. However, Alastair Cook and Keaton Jennings survived the pressure and hosts wrapped up the day on 23 for zero.
