England vs India 2018: Twitter Trolls Wriddhiman Saha after his Congratulatory Message to Rishabh Pant

Wriddhiman Saha had to face the fan’s trolls after he gave a congratulatory message to Rishabh Pant. Saha, who is out of the team because of his shoulder injury, had praised Pant for his audacious knock. However, it is palpable that Pant’s good performance can put Wriddhiman Saha’s place in jeopardy. Meanwhile, Wriddhiman Saha is all set to miss out on the forthcoming Australian tour as he recuperating from the shoulder injury.

On the other hand, Rishabh Pant was on fire in the second innings of the fifth Test match at Oval. Pant brought up his maiden Test century as he scored his runs in the way he only knows – that is in the topmost gear. The combative batsman catapulted his attack on the opposition as he played some breathtaking shots.

Rishabh Pant was on fire.

Meanwhile, the pugnacious batsman scored 15 fours and four maximums in his blistering knock of 114 off just 146 balls. In fact, Pant brought up his maiden hundred with a fine six which goes to show his confidence. KL Rahul and Pant put together an alliance of 204 runs to give a ray of hope to India. Pant is well known for his pyrotechnics and likes to hit the ground running from the get-go.

Furthermore, the left-hander opened his account in Test cricket with a massive six off Adil Rashid. Therefore, Pant showed no sign of nerves in his maiden series in the red ball version.

Pant had also done well on recent India A tour of England. Consequently, he received his maiden call-up to the senior side. The Delhi based lad scored 684 runs in the IPL as he was the second highest run-getter in the tournament.

Moreover, Pant also impressed with his wicketkeeping skills. Pant took seven catches on his debut to set up a new record in Test cricket. Hence, Pant has been a good find for the Indian team. However, he will need to find the right balance between attack and defence.
