England vs India 2018: Virat Kohli Shares an Emotional Message After Lord's Loss

Team India skipper Virat Kohli shared an emotional message after Lord’s Test drubbing. The Indian captain urged the fans to never give up on them. Kohli said that sometimes the team wins and when they lose, they learn.

Meanwhile, India was not up to the mark in the second Test match at Lord’s. The tourists received a thrashing loss at the hands of the home side as they faced an ignominious defeat of an innings and 159 runs.

On the other hand, Indian team batting woes continued. They skittled out for a paltry 107 in the first innings and then bundled out for 130 runs. Therefore, they displayed another bad performance with the bat.

Meanwhile, James Anderson was the chief destroyer of the Indian innings as he scalped five wickets in the first innings to go with another four wickets in the second.

Chris Woakes came with a match-winning performance as the all-rounder scored an unbeaten 137 runs to put hosts in front. Furthermore, Woakes also took four wickets to come up with a staggering performance.

Meanwhile, team India skipper Virat Kohli will want more from his batsmen. The Bowlers have come with good performances whereas the batsmen have let the team down.

The openers have failed to give a good platform to the side. Moreover, the middle order apart from Kohli hasn’t received any impetus into their innings.

Therefore, Indian selectors might bring in some changes to the squad for the final two Test matches. Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah is declared fit for the third Test which is a good sign for India.

The third Test match will take place from 18 September at Trent Bridge, Nottingham.
