Team India made a stunning comeback against England at Trent Bridge to bring the scoreline down to 1-2 in the five-match Test series. Now, after gaining some momentum, the Indian players are on the ground, training hard for the Southampton game, starting August 30th.

Meanwhile, India’s batting performance was quite improved in the third Test than at Lord’s where they got thrashed by an innings and 159 runs by the hosts.

Now, ahead of the fourth Test at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton, India will be the team who is oozing with confidence and will look to square the series the game begins. They are practising quite hard ahead of the must-win encounter, and it was evident from a video which was posted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on their official Twitter handle.

India skipper Virat Kohli has been at the top of his game. After a disastrous tour in 2014, he got criticised from all quarters for his inability to play against the moving ball. However, Virat has silenced all his critics and is currently the leading run-scorer in the series by a country mile. Kohli had already scored a couple of centuries, and a couple of half-centuries each in the three games played so far.

However, Virat Kohli missed out on a century in the 1st innings of the previous Test. Later, he was second time lucky, as the India captain completed his 23rd Test hundred in the following innings.

In the video shared by BCCI, Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara were seen facing some of the speedsters in the nets. Both the batsmen looked in complete control and played most of the deliveries from the middle of the bat.

The visitors need up the ante and play the way they had done it at Trent Bridge if they seek to equal the squares in the five-match Test series.
