After a rain-marred Test series, England and Pakistan would be locking horns in the first of the three-match Test series today. England won the Test series 1-0 and there is absolutely no denying that the visitors would be feeling hard done by. They had dominated the first Test before England managed to stage a stunning fightback on the final day to win the game before the following two games ended in draws.

Both the teams will now be focusing on the T20I series which would have been used by them as a preparatory series for the T20 World Cup in normal circumstances. The marquee event was to be played in October this year but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Babar Azam will be looking to motivate his team as the players must be getting tired of staying in the bio-secure bubbles. The visitors will be desperate to ensure that they do not return from England empty handed. With most of the big names from England not a part of the series, Pakistan do have a good chance of winning the series.
