England's Latest Sensation Sam Curran in Line for IPL Debut?

When everything went in favour of India from the first Test in the ongoing England series, suddenly, a 20-year-old from England stood like a barricade in between India and victory. Sam Curran mixed the rare combination of aggression with patience to halt India’s momentum. Meanwhile, he is on the radar to taste the essence of IPL shortly.

The string of continuous performances for England certainly lifted the bar for Sam Curran. As per the latest reports, the franchises of the Indian Premier League are in thoughts to grab the services of the youngster.

The reports by The Guardian suggests the 20-year-old youngster already became the cynosure of the eyes for the IPL franchises. They furtherly mentioned Sam Curran is in talks with the various franchises.

Meanwhile, it is also come to know Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore are planning to sign Curran for the upcoming edition of IPL. They recently hired Gary Kirsten, as their head coach alongside Ashish Nehra.

Sam Curran made his debut for England in the Test series against Pakistan. However, his real impact came against India when he played a serious role in bagging the series victory for the team with his stunning efforts.

He played a solid knock at Edgbaston and picked a fifer to take the man of the match and then followed it up with an excellent 40 at Lords. Though he got dropped at Trentbridge, his return at Southampton gave a series victory for England.

During the course, Sam Curran impressed the franchises of IPL, who would be keen to sign him. The youngster’s brother, Tom Curran played for Kolkata Knight Riders in the 2018 edition of IPL.

However, the addition of Sam will be a top-notch inclusion for any franchise. Having a left-handed all-rounder is always a great option for the team. Probably, a big fat cheque is waiting for Sam Curran.
