England World Cup winning captain Eoin Morgan will come with a vast experience and will help Dinesh Karthik at KKR, believes bowling coach Kyle Mills. The English star had plied his trade for KKR from 2011 to 2013. He featured in over 26 matches during this period and contributed crucial runs to the team’s tally.
KKR looks like a formidable unit with overseas stars like Pat Cummins and Eoin Morgan in the side. Kyle Mills believes Dinesh Karthik can stay focused on keeping while Morgan will be in the cover region and can communicate with the death bowlers or during the pressure situation.

“I think Eoin is going to complement DK really well. DK can focus on keeping, Eoin will be in the cover region. So, the communication with the bowler in the death overs or pressure situations will work well,” Mills said in an interview on KKR’s website.
“Eoin Morgan has a lot of experience and also had successful campaigns for England. He doesn’t get flustered under pressure situations. So, you need leaders like that in a young group. I know leaders who panic and raise their voice.”

Morgan has featured in 52 IPL matches. Although, he has not quite got ticking and averages just over 21, his experience would have been crucial for the Kolkata franchise and he could have passed quick tips to captain Dinesh Karthik.
