Eoin Morgan Reveals The Best League In The World

England’s World Cup-winning captain Eoin Morgan has revealed the best cricket league in the World. Morgan believes that the UAE’s T10 league is one of the best leagues he has played in. Morgan had led Kerala Kings in the previous edition of the league. In fact, Morgan who recently led England to their maiden World Cup title will once again hold the captaincy reins.

Kerala Kings is co-owned by Shafi-Ul Mulk and the owner of the franchise is all praise for the captain of the team. Morgan has led England with aplomb and the results are palpable for everyone. In fact, Shafi is proud that his team would now be led by the World Cup-winning captain.

Meanwhile, Eoin Morgan had played a scintillating knock of 148 runs from just 71 balls in the league stage match against Afghanistan. Morgan had smashed a record-breaking 17 sixes in an innings and had also scored four fours. It was a devastating knock from Morgan and Afghanistan bowlers had no clue on how to stop Morgan’s assault. Thus, the T10 league has helped Morgan in hitting the ground running.

On the other hand, Eoin Morgan has promised to return as the captain of the side for the third edition of the T10 league.

For all of us in the team and personally for me, as I have a close relationship with Morgan, we feel proud of him and his achievement,” Shafi said.

He exhibited his calmness and maturity throughout the World Cup and lifted England superbly from under pressure following the defeats in the round-robin stage”, he added.

“I knew he possesses a very unique cool and calm temperament. As soon as the T10 matches began in the first season, I saw that he has exemplary leadership qualities. He kept infusing strong self-belief in his teammates’ skills and kept motivating them. It is these qualities in him that helped us become the first champions of the T10 league,” Shafi said.

Eoin Morgan has done a great job for England. The English team will play a one-off four-day Test match against Ireland. Subsequently, England will take part in the Ashes from 1st August.
