A few of them felt that Ravi Shastri is enjoying the best job in the world while a few trolled him saying that he is getting his salary for sleeping during an international match. However, a few of them were angry with the head coach, who wasn’t professional enough despite leading the number-one ranked team.

Coming to the match, hosts maintained their dominance over South Africa in the third and final Test as they are now just two wickets away from completing a clean sweep in Ranchi. Resuming their first innings after a dreadful start, South Africa batsmen put up another shoddy performance as they were bundled out on 162 in the first innings.

Enforcing the follow-on after taking a strong lead of 332 runs, the Indian bowlers made sure that the hosts control their dominance. The pace attack led by Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav scalped five wickets, while R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja chipped in with one wicket each.
