Yuvraj Singh, the veteran Indian National Cricket team all-rounder, will represent the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, Mumbai Indians in the upcoming edition of the cash-rich league.
Meanwhile, Yuvraj turned up for Punjab for three games prior to the auctions; however, failed to make a mark. During the auction day, the veteran all-rounder failed to attract any buyer in the first round of auction. However, Mumbai roped him in the dying moments at his base price of Rs 1 crore.
Yuvraj Singh made himself available for the previous round of the ongoing Ranji Trophy against Tamil Nadu. He scored 41 runs with the bat and then returned with a couple of wickets with the ball to help his cause before the IPL 2019 auction. In the three matches, he has played so far, the 37-year-old managed to score only 78 runs at an average of 19.50.

The inclusion of Yuvraj Singh in the Mumbai Indians squad made all his fans happy and they vented out on social media. Yuvraj also expressed his delight to play under the leadership of Rohit Sharma. But Yuvraj decided to give Punjab???s next Ranji Trophy game against Hyderabad a miss. However, the reason behind is still not known.
The recent decision of Yuvraj has not gone well with the fans and they vented their anger on social media.
Here is how the Twitter reacted:

True I feel he should go with grace.
I love Yuvraj as much as anyone and will always respect his contribution to our white ball cricket, but taking a youngster's place at this stage of his career was a disappointing decision.
Manipulative cricketer with dubious credentials
Don???t quite agree Zak picked him ???.but yes when they find time to turn out for IPL where there is money why not turn out for Ranji and help youngsters. Have immense respect for him for what he did for India but now it???s coming to a point where he is losing respect.
