Farveez Maharoof: Virender Sehwag Was Coolest Captain, Never Took Pressure Much

Virender Sehwag would be the same person even if he scores 300 or gets out for a duck, Simon Taufel recently said. Farveez Maharoof picked up 15 wickets in the inaugural edition for the erstwhile Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Captials) besides bowling economical spells. He feels Sehwag always backed his players and never took much pressure. The Sri Lankan also said, the former India opener, was one of the ‘coolest person’ he ever met.

”He (Virender Sehwag) is the most coolest person I’ve ever met, he was somebody that doesn’t take pressure that much. He lives by the day and he is the person, who backs you all the time to go in the middle. Even when was captaining, he was someone very free-flowing, easy-going, cool character,” Farveez Maharoof said in an exclusive interview to CricketAddictor.
