'F***ing k******d!': Jos Buttler Launches Stunning X-Rated Rant At Vernon Philander: Watch
With the match heading towards a thrilling finish in Cape Town, England wicketkeeper Jos Buttler could not stop his emotions getting the better of him. On the thrilling final day of the second Test against host South Africa, Jos Buttler launched a stunning x-rated rant against Proteas veteran Vernon Philander who is set to retire at the end of the series.
With South Africa keeping five wickets intact at tea, England were desperately searching for wickets. And they did not take long to make early inroads in the last session. They picked up two quick wickets to brighten up their chances of levelling the series. However, Philander was showing enough composure to frustrate the English players.
And when the South Africa star came between a throw and Jos Buttler, the latter couldn’t help but object to the former failing to step out of the way so he could receive the throw.
“Get out the f***ing way,” said Jos Buttler with aggression, prompting Philander to stare back at him.
“F***ing move,” he continued. “You know it’s going to f***ing (inaudible), just move … f***ing k***head.”
First slip Ben Stokes backed his man, adding: “Don’t stare him out. He’s got a point, mate.”
Buttler completed the tirade by suggesting the throw had some work to do to “f***ing, get past that f***ing gut” without Philander standing in the way.
Here is a clip of that incident:
Buttler(to Philander): “Fucking knobhead”
Stokes (from slip): “Let’s just get him out”
Buttler: “Can’t get past that fucking gut!”SPIRIT OF CRICKET RIGHT HERE #SAvsENG

Soon after the incident, Sky Sports offered an apology for the language through commentator Michael Atherton. England, meanwhile, won the game by 189 runs to draw level in the four-match series. With the tourists still needing three wickets in the final hour, Ben Stokes claimed them all to cap a stunning all-round performance.
He removed Dwaine Pretorius and Anrich Nortje in consecutive balls before dismissing Vernon Philander to secure the win with just 8.2 overs remaining.
