In order to consistently perform at high standards, international players have to follow a strict routine which also includes their diet. Almost all world-class players follow a strict diet in order to be fit to play at the international level. They have to give up on their favourite food items which is a sacrifice for an injury-free career.
But, do you know that there are some international players who own restaurants? Apart from Cricket being a source of income, owning hotels also helps cricketers to focus on something other than cricket, when they are not playing.
Today, we take a look at five international cricketers who own famous restaurants:
Ravindra Jadeja made his debut for the Indian cricket team in 2009 and has since established himself as one of the most reliable all-rounders. However, few people know that Jadeja owns a restaurant called ‘Jaddu’s Food Field’, which he opened in the year 2012, in Rajkot.
Known to serve various lip-smacking dishes, Jadeja’s hotel is one of the best in Rajkot. It serves mostly Indian cuisine and has a very family-friendly atmosphere.
An interesting fact is that the hotel is a sort of lucky charm for Jadeja because, after its opening, the 31-year-old got his first call up to the Test team.
He himself revealed this, in an interview, also adding that the number 12 is very lucky for him. His birthday comes in December and opened his hotel in 2012.
