Gambhir, who is currently the Member of Parliament in Lok Sabha, has always been quite vocal on social media about issues concerning Indian cricket or the state of politics in the country.

The 2011 World Cup-winner took to Twitter on Tuesday to interact with his fans via the Question-Answer session. One of the users proceeded to ask Gambhir to choose which profession among cricket or politics is better.

”Which profession is better cricket or politics ? #AskGG @GautamGambhir Winning the world cup or winning elections,” asked the user.

Gambhir replied by saying that he doesn’t consider either of them as a profession. He further added that while cricket was his passion, politics is a way of giving back the love to the people that he has received over the years.

“Neither is a profession for me. Cricket was my passion & politics is a way of giving back the love I received over the yrs!” Gambhir replied.

Meanwhile, Gautam Gambhir is also an active part of Star Sports coverage of the 2020 Indian Premier League, where he regularly gives his insightful analysis of the proceedings.
