Gautam Gambhir Enjoys His Time With Daughter Aazeen in Disneyland

Gautam Gambhir is not in the Indian selection radar at the moment but he is enjoying his off time with his daughter in Paris. In a recent twitter post, Gambhir shared a picture with his daughter Aazeen Gambhir where he was enjoying his time with his cute daughter. It was one of the cutest posts on social networking sites yesterday.

Taking to his twitter handle he wrote, “To HELL with fitness and calories. Daddy, Daughter, Donald and Disney park…all Divinity #Paris #summerholidays.” Gambhir has been an influential cricketer over the years. Despite not retiring yet, he is definitely in the twilight of his career. The southpaw was quite ordinary during the recently concluded Indian Premier League. He left captaincy midway through the tournament and handed it over to Shreyas Iyer.

Despite the current bad patch of Gambhir, no one can deny this fact that he played two of the greatest knocks on the two most important days of Indian cricket. His 75 was instrumental in taking India to a World T20I title in 2007. In the 2011 World Cup final, he played an astonishing innings which laid the foundation for a famous Indian win.

In his absence from cricketing duties, Gambhir is enjoying his time with family. Gambhir is a man who is known to raise his voice against violence which happens in the society. He is also a man of words. Despite being involved in few controversies during his career, he has been an inspiration to a man outside the sphere of cricket. He has taken care of many underprivileged children and has shared several pictures showing his social work earlier.

Gambhir was the skipper of the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League. Under his captaincy, Kolkata Knight Riders lifted the IPL title two times. He was an inspirational skipper for them and that was the reason why Delhi Daredevils made him the captain for the season. Given his impressive record, DD would have thought Gambhir’s presence would turn their fortunes around. However, it wasn’t to be as they finished the tournament at the bottom of the points table.
