Twitter Reacts After Shahid Afridi Shares a Picture of Her Daughter With Big Cat Behind

Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi was one of the most influential cricketers in Pakistan. Having made his international debut way back in 1996 as a 16-year-old.

Afridi went from strength to strength and accomplished himself as one of the greatest limited-overs cricketers the country has ever produced.

However, the Peshawar-based Afridi has yet again hogged the limelight after he posted a picture of his daughter Asmara posing in a manner which he used to do on the cricketing field after taking a wicket.

Afridi is known for his exceptional style of play and longevity in the international cricket.

It seems that her daughter looks to take the celebrations forward. Afridi is known to stretch his arms after the dismissal. This particular style is emulated by many around the world. However this time it was his daughter who copied his father’s signature steps.

However, Twitterati went into a frenzy when the saw a lion behind her daughter in the picture shared by Afridi.

Also, Afridi posted a picture of his daughter doing the same signature celebrations. He also captioned the picture.

“Great to spend time with loved ones. Best feeling in the world to have my daughter copy my wicket-taking celebrations. And yes don’t forget to take care of animals, they too deserve our love and care.” he wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Afridi also shared his own picture where he is seen feeding a fawn.

In addition, many people questioned whether the big cat was the pet of Afridi. There were many people who raised questions after witnessing the appearance of a lion in a picture.

So much so, they even termed the act as illegal. It remains to be seen how the Pakistan government reacts to this. You rarely see a human being with lions. So, it was strange for all the fans to see a lion behind her daughter in the photograph.

Meanwhile, Shahid Afridi played his last international game for the World XI very recently against Windies at the Lord’s Cricket Stadium in London.

Afridi was the skipper of the World XI in the absence of Eoin Morgan. It was a great performance by WIndies as they made light work of the World XI side and defeated them quite convincingly by 72 runs.
