Gautam Gambhir Lauds Priyanka Raina for Her Work Towards Women of India

With Priyanka Raina, wife of India batsman Suresh Raina, set to embark on a mission to serve India’s daughters and women to make their life better, veteran batsman Gautam Gambhir has wished her all the luck.

Priyanka will feature in the show ‘The Priyanka Raina Show’ which will be aired on Red FM every weekend. Priyanka, who is married to Suresh for close to three years now, has always been active to serve the society. She is associated with initiatives like Palna by Delhi Council for Child Welfare in association with Red FM, and Foodathon to create food bank for underprivileged children.

She and her husband have also opened a charitable foundation in the name of her daughter ‘Gracia Raina Foundation’.

Priyanka is now all geared up to contribute towards the betterment of Indian women and has been receiving support from all around. From women sportsperson like Saina Nehwal to Sania Mirza to cricketers like Virender Sehwag and Mohammad Kaif, a lot of eminent personalities have wished Mrs Raina, and now Gambhir also did his part.

The left-handed batsman took to Twitter to urge everyone to wish Priyanka in her noble endeavour, writing:

Raina, meanwhile, was quick to thank Gambhir for the wish and also lauded him for the work he is doing through Gautam Gambhir foundation. 

“Thank you @GautamGambhir! You are doing a tremendous job by supporting girl child education through #GGF. Really proud of your efforts for this cause,” wrote Raina who recently sung a song for the ‘daughters of India.
