Gautam Gambhir Picks India's Bowling Attack For T20 World Cup 2020

The Indian team-management will definitely face a tough time while picking the bowling lineup for this year’s T20 World Cup. India’s bowling pool is full of world-class bowlers and decision to pick only a few of them is definitely going to be tough for the selectors as well as team-management.
The like of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Navdeep Saini, Shardul Thakur and Deepak Chahar are the leading pacers of the country. On the other hand, the likes of Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Ravindra Jadeja, Krunal Pandya, Washington Sundar are the spinners available for the tournament.
No surprises then that the management will have a tough time in picking the final bowling lineup. Well, former India opener Gautam Gambhir might have made the team-management’s task a bit easier by revealing his preferred bowling attack for the T20 World Cup.
The legendary batsman has chosen four specialist pacers, two wrist-spinners and an allrounder who should fly down-under. Gautam Gambhir picked Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar and Shami as the three leading pacers before naming Saini as the backup bowler.
For the spinning options, Gautam Gambhir picked the expected Chahal-Kuldeep pair. For the allrounder’s role, the World Cup-winner Hardik Pandya ahead of Shivam Dube.

The T20 World Cup is scheduled to take place in October-November in Australia. As of now, there are huge doubts over the tournament because of the pandemic. The ICC and Cricket Australia are hopeful of conducting the tournament but the chances of it are very slim.
