Gautam Gambhir has reacted hilariously to Kevin Pietersen’s tweet in which he asked his followers how to make the former India opener smile. The legendary batsman rarely smiled on the cricket field. Gautam Gambhir perhaps takes his name too seriously and loves to show a serious face all the time.
Not only on the field, he also loves to remain serious off the field as well and a recent tweet pretty much proves that. Star Sports, on Wednesday, posted a tweet to promote their show. The tweet featured pictures of Kevin Pietersen, Gautam Gambhir and Dean Jones.

While Pietersen and Jones were smiling in the pictures, Gautam Gambhir looked his usual self as smile was missing from his face. Kevin Pietersen was amused to see the tweet and he was quick to respond to it. The England legend hilariously tweeted: “Can we get GG to smile?”

Well, Gautam Gambhir was quick to react to the tweet from Kevin Pietersen and one can say that the former England skipper might not like it too much. Gautam Gambhir hilariously told Pietersen that he has given him a lot of reasons to smile and one of them was how he got out to Yuvraj Singh during the famous Chennai Test of 2008.
On that tour, Pietersen had kicked up a storm when he called Yuvraj a pie chucker after getting out to the left-arm spinner. Pietersen went on to say that Yuvraj had bowled ‘left-arm filth’. Recalling that tour, Gautam Gambhir hilariously wrote:
“Well #legend guess u forgot!!! You have given me many reasons to smile. One of them came in December 2008 in Chennai. I think the scoreboard read Kevin Pietersen lbw b a certain #piechucker.”
