Glenn Maxwell Move up to the Top of the All-rounders Chart in T20I Cricket

Aussie all-rounder Glenn Maxwell made positive movements in the latest ICC T20I Player Rankings Update. He has moved to the top of the all-rounders chart while moving in to the 2^nd position among batsmen. He was adjudged as the Player of the Series in the Trans-Tasman series, He was the leading run-getter with 233 runs which also include a match-winning century in Hobart.

He also bagged 3 wickets during the clash and helped Australia move up to the 2^nd position in the overall team rankings from as low as 7^th. This particular occurrence saw Maxwell jump 5 positions on the batting chart. Meanwhile, just two points behind is Kiwis opener Colin Munro who is the only batsmen in the world to smash 3 T20I centuries.

Maxwell removed Shakib Al Hasan from the top of the ladder to become the No 1 all-rounder in the Latest ICC Rankings. Maxwell was well in contention for an Ashes birth. However, in the end, it was Shaun Marsh who took the No 6 spot. However, the all-rounder went on to smash his highest first class score of 278 just a week later against the New South Wales in a Sheffield Shield game.
