Glenn McGrath Reveals His Test Hat-Trick Wishlist

Former Australian legendary pacer, Glenn McGrath has come up with his Test hat-trick wishlist of batsmen who played during McGrath’s stint. The list involves batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar, former West Indies legend, Brian Lara, and the Wall of Indian cricket, Rahul Dravid.

In terms of total career wickets taken, McGrath is the second-most successful fast bowler of all time. He is behind James Anderson, and he is fifth on the all-time list, with the top three wicket-takers which includes Muttiah Muralitharan, Shane Warne and Anil Kumble. Mcgrath was known throughout his career for maintaining an accurate line and length.

McGrath answered 25 rapid-fire questions from ESPN Cricinfo on a range of subjects. One of the best fast bowlers through the 90s till late 2000s, McGrath revealed his secret wishlist, if he could take a Test hat-trick.

Glenn McGrath’s hat-trick wishlist includes the number of legends which world of cricket has ever witnessed. Sachin Tendulkar is widely regarded as the God of Cricket because of his contribution to the sport. Tendulkar is the best batsman statistically to ever play in the international cricket spectrum. The former right-hander has amassed more 34000 international runs in international cricket with a century of hundreds.

Rahul Dravid, on the other hand, is considered to be one of the most resilient batsmen ever to take up cricket. He is famously known as the Wall in world cricket because of his grit on the crease. Brian Lara is another exceptional talent to have graced the cricketing world with his contribution. The former left-hander has scored more than 22000 international runs, and his 400*against England still stands as the highest individual score in international cricket.
