The 35th match of the Indian Premier League 2023 is definitely not going as planned for the Mumbai Indians as the team keep losing wickets in a string. Gujarat’s Noor Ahmad was on fire in the middle overs as he castled Cameron Green with a stunning delivery to put the chasing side in a precarious position.
Earlier in the day, Gujarat Titans lost the toss and faced a tough start as Arjun Tendulkar got an early breakthrough. However, Shubman Gill and Hardik Pandya tried to stabilize the innings with a partnership of 39 runs for the second wicket.

Bowling to Cameron Green, Noor Ahmad pitched in a flatter delivery around the leg stumps, Green tried to flick the ball away but did not get the timing correct as the ball easily beat the bat and rattled the leg stumps over leaving the batter in disbelief as the bowler celebrated in a joyous fashion. The wicket was also special as Noor Ahmad bagged his 50th T20 wicket.
Noor Ahmad was not done with Cameron Green’s dismissal as the bowler turned Mumbai’s situation from worse to a nightmare dismissing Tim David on a duck to put Gujarat head and center in the game.
As of writing, Mumbai are in the mudhole with 91 runs to their name at the loss of 6 wickets in 13 overs. The game looks well and over for the side with no notable batter left to steer the chase. Noor Ahmad and Rashid Khan have been on fire with the Afghan duo picking up 5 off the 6 wickets so far in the contest.
