GT vs SRH: Watch - Hardik Pandya’s Wife Natasa Dejected After Umran Malik Dismisses The GT Captain

Gujarat Titans’ (GT) captain Hardik Pandya became the latest victim of Umran Malik’s pace as he was dismissed by the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) pacer in their IPL 2022 clash leaving Pandya’s wife Natasha dejected in the stands. The two sides were clashing for the second time in the tournament, this time at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai.

Gujarat Titans skipper Hardik Pandya won the toss and ended SRH skipper Kane Williamson’s 7-match streak of winning tosses. Gujarat Titans went in unchanged from their last match, while SRH welcomed Washington Sundar back into the side in place of Jagadeesha Suchith.

While Kane Williamson fell for 5 and Rahul Tripathi looked good for his 16; it was the duo of Abhishek Sharma and Aiden Markram who set SRH on the path of a good total. Abhishek Sharma with 65 in 42 balls with 3 sixes and 6 fours and Aiden Markram with 56 in 40 balls, while Shashank Singh slammed the 6 balls he faced for 25 runs and remained unbeaten as SRH posted 195/6 in 20 overs.

Umran Malik Hurts And Then Removes Hardik Pandya; Natasa Left Sad And Dejected After Pandya’s Dismissal

Shubman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha added 69 runs for the first wicket before Gill was clean bowled by Umran Malik, whom Kane Williamson employed in action after the powerplay overs ended. While Saha continued to slam his way to a brilliant half-century, much depended on Hardik Pandya who walked into bat at no.3.

Pandya was welcomed with a 145kph bouncer which hit his right shoulder and Hardik was seen in visible pain. The next two balls from Umran Malik to Hardik Pandya resulted in boundaries, but then Malik got better off Pandya in the 10^th over.

On the second ball of the over, Malik hurried Pandya with a short one and Hardik only managed to top edge the ball to the third man. Marco Jansen had been moved fine at the position and took a well-judged catch to send back the GT captain for 10 runs.

While Hardik walked back to the pavilion, the camera caught a glimpse of his wife Natasa in the stands, who was visibly distraught.
