Harbhajan Singh Sends Wishes to Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma

India off-spinner, Harbhajan Singh, who was one of the closest dear ones of the India captain, attended Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s reception in Mumbai. Post the function, Bhajji posted a message on social media for the couple –

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma tied the knot on December 11 in Italy in an affair which was kept privy till the time the event was made official.

However, the couple released a few photographs and videos of the occasion which was a treat for the fans who were waiting to get the insights of the event.

Later, it got announced that couple would be hosting two reception parties; one in Delhi and one in Mumbai to host their family and friends.

The first reception, that was held in Delhi, was also attended by PM Narendra Modi. Many of the cricketers were absent from the event, as the Indian team was playing the T20I series against Sri Lanka. Since the final T20I was played in Mumbai, the players did not have to travel anywhere to attend the second reception that was held in Mumbai on Wednesday.

On December 28 from Mumbai, the Indian players will fly to Dubai before they fly to South Africa for the series. The members of the U19 team will also travel with the senior side till Dubai before they take other flight to New Zealand.

It is the first time in the history when a junior and senior team will travel alongside each other. In fact, Kohli had already greeted the junior players by sending them sporting gears.

The India tour of South Africa starts on January 5. Before the start of the international fixtures, team India will be undergoing intense practice sessions. Four extra pace bowlers will also travel with the Indian team who will bowl to the batsmen in nets.

The international fixtures for the U19 team will start on January 14. Team India will play two practice games before beginning league stage phase of the tournament.
