Harbhajan Singh wishes Shahid Afridi on his 38th Birthday

India veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh has lauded the efforts of his old friend and veteran Shahid Afridi. The sensational all-rounder from Pakistan is celebrating his 38th Birthday.

Superstar of Pakistan cricket, Afridi turned 38 on March 1. It further saw the wishes pouring in from the cricketing world. Moreover, his fans took to the social media platforms – to wish their hot-favourite on his birthday.

Wearing the heart on his sleeve, Afridi had enjoyed the cricketing career. He also led Pakistan while being a heartthrob for many.

The big-hitting sensation Afridi is concurrently in the United Arab Emirates. He is playing for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Karachi Kings.

While talking about the incredible numbers of Afridi, he has set an example for the aspiring cricketers.

Fondly known as ‘Lala’ and ‘Boom Boom’ Afridi broke it the international circuit at the age of 16. He went on to smash 37-ball century against Sri Lanka. It subsequently saw him becoming such a great entertainer for the die-hard fans.

As the on-field rivalry between India and Pakistan has offered a lot, but it is equally enticing off the field.

The 37-year-old senior Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh took to Twitter – to wish the star batsman on his special day.

Afridi is running the NGO ‘Shahid Afridi Foundation’ as Harbhajan wished the former all the best for his incredible work.

However, Afridi was quick to respond Harbhajan’s post.

Earlier, Afridi also took to the Twitter handle to thanks his fans for pouring the birthday wishes.

“It’s another year to look back and learn and look forward in hope, to deliver for my nation and fans. I thank you all for wishing me birthday, all of you are the source of my joy and happiness,” Afridi stated on a Twitter handle.

Harbhajan had played 236 One-day Internationals, 103 Tests and 28 Twenty20 Internationals for India. He has bagged 711 scalps across formats before being sidelined in the national fold.

Afridi was named among 20 charitable athletes of 2015 for the charity work which has the motive to prove education and basic amenities to the needy people.
