Harbhajan Singh to Make Acting Debut, See Poster

Veteran Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh is now reaching new milestones off the field now. His cricketing career has been nothing short of a movie itself. However, Bhajji is now making his acting debut in a Tamil film named Friendship. The poster of the film was officially released on Twitter by Ramesh Bala.

The film is expected to hit the theatres this year. It has been directed by John Paul Raj and Shyam Surya. The full cast of the film hasn’t been announced yet but it will be announced shortly. It will not be the first time that Bhajji is featuring on the big screen. Previously, he has featured in a special appearance in the film, Second Hand Husband.

Harbhajan Singh to Star in a Tamil Movie

Bhajji will make his full-time acting debut in the Tamil movie, Welcome. Sharing the poster of the movie, Ramesh Bala wrote, “For the first time in Indian cinema, Indian cricketer @harbhajan_singh will be playing lead role in the upcoming #Friendship Movie.This”2020″ is Will be Unexpected And its going to Spin WorldWide.”

Meanwhile, former Indian pacer, Irfan Pathan will also feature in a movie. Irfan Pathan will feature in another Tamil film. This film also features Tamil superstar Vikram. It is directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, who is known for films like ‘Imaikka Nodigal’ and ‘Demonte Colony’.

The film is tentatively titled ‘Vikram 58.’ Oscar-winner AR Rahman has composed the background score for this movie. Its filming will begin soon and will be done across various parts of India.
