Harbhajan Singh, the veteran Indian National Cricket team off-spinner, has urged Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan to act immediately that can put an end to terror across the border.
Meanwhile, the recent Pulwama Terror attack has created a stir countrywide as a Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) rammed an explosives-laden car into a CRPF bus, killing at least 40 personnel and leaving many critically wounded. On the back of it, India have cut several ties with the neighbouring country.
The bus was on the Srinagar-Jammu highway in Lethpora town, about 30 km from Srinagar when the attack took place. The entire nation mourned the death of their brave sons who lost thier lives in the Terror attack. Following the attack, India swiftly withdrew Pakistan’s Most Favoured Nation status, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi warned that the perpetrators of the attack would pay a hefty price. Many people from different spheres have joined the chorus, and Harbhajan Singh is the latest addition to it.

“I can only tell Imran Khan that he should take steps so that these issues can be addressed and how they can be addressed, he knows best,” Harbhajan told India Today.
“We are too small to understand how these issues can be tackled politically. But there should be an end to this. An end after which not a single soldier of ours has to lose his life. Because every soldier is someone’s son or brother and only that family can understand the pain,” he added.
Imran Khan, however, in a press conference has noted that they will act sincerely if India can prove their claim. Otherwise, he also issued a warning that Pakistan will retaliate if India declares war on them.

India should boycott Pakistan in World Cup
Harbhajan Singh also voiced his opinion calling for India to boycott the World Cup match against Pakistan, this year, if need be, to register their protest.
“India should not play Pakistan in the World Cup. India are powerful enough to win the World Cup without having to play Pakistan,” Harbhajan Singh told Aaj Tak.
