Hardik Pandya Picks His All-Time IPL XI

Hardik Pandya recently engaged in a freewheeling chat with renowned commentator Harsha Bhogle, where he went on to pick his all-time IPL XI.
Hardik picked swashbuckling opening batsman Chris Gayle [4484 runs in 125 matches at a strike-rate of 151.02] and his Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma. Sharma, besides leading Mumbai Indians to four IPL titles, is also the third-highest run-getter [4898 runs in 188 matches at a strike-rate of 130.82] in the history of the cash-rich league.
Virat Kohli [5412 runs in 177 matches at a strike-rate of 131.61] and Suresh Raina [5368 runs in 193 matches at a strike-rate of 137.14]- the two leading run-scorers in IPL history- occupy the third and fourth spot in Hardik Pandya’s all-time IPL XI.
Virat Kohli’s teammate and one of the greatest-ever batsman to have played this beautiful game, AB de Villiers [4395 runs in 154 matches at a strike-rate of 151.23] makes it to Hardik’s list in the middle-order.

MS Dhoni to lead Hardik Pandya’s all-time IPL XI
MS Dhoni, the three-time IPL winner, and the leader of the Chennai Super Kings, will captain Hardik’s all-time IPL XI. Dhoni has played 190 IPL games in which he has racked up 4411 runs at a strike-rate of 130.50.
When it came to all-rounders, Hardik Pandya picked himself. The swashbuckling Mumbai Indians all-rounder has played 66 IPL games in which he has scored 1068 runs at a strike-rate of 154.78 besides claiming 42 wickets at an average of 31.26.
Sunil Narine [122 wickets in 110 matches at an average of 23.31] and Rashid Khan [55 wickets in 46 matches at an average of 21.69] will spearhead the spinner’s department while the fast bowling will be led by his Mumbai Indians teammates in Lasith Malinga [170 wickets in 122 matches at an average of 19.8] and Jasprit Bumrah [82 wickets in 77 matches at an average of 26.59].
