Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul Suspended Pending Enquiry, Fresh Show-Cause Notices to be Issued
Perhaps, Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul would have never imagined that one tv talk show would make things upside down. A 50-minute talk show has completely vanished their respect in the country and is receiving the continuous outrage from the people of India. Meanwhile, it affected their cricketing career as well.
Hardik Pandya has passed on sexist comments in the recent talk show named Koffee With Karan that has a huge fan base in India. Just after Hardik Pandya passing the comments, the people out there showed their anger on the social media causing outrage to Hardik Pandya.
They have been suspended – Vinod Rai
Meanwhile, the respective board has issued a show-cause notice, in which, the concerned cricketers failed to give the proper explanation. For the same, they have been suspended and the further enquiry is set to be made on the duo.
It is learnt from the words of Vinod Rai to PTI that the duo will be receiving a fresh show-cause notice from the respective board. Till then, Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul will be under suspension.
Both Pandya and Rahul have been suspended pending an inquiry,” the Committee of Administrators (CoA) chairman Vinod Rai told PTI. Whether it will be an internal committee of the BCCI or an ad hoc ombudsman who will conduct an inquiry, is yet to be ascertained,” the official said.
”The Indian team management will take a call on whether they would want to keep the two with the team or send them back. There is a school of thought that they are kept with the team as the backlash back home could be severe but the majority in BCCI brass is against the decision,” he added.
Well, it would be interesting to see how things would pan out for both youngsters. It is not only about their careers but also going too harsh on them might lead to some unknown disturbances.
For now, if the reports are to be believed, the duo will return back to India and will not be part of the upcoming 3-match ODI series against Australia. It would be a big dent for the duo, especially, with the ICC World Cup 2019 around the corner.
