KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya have endured a tough time in their careers together this year. 2019 started on a bad note for the two as they landed in controversy for their comments on a popular chat show. Both the players were asked to return home from the tour of Australia and were suspended immediately.
Fortunately, they were later let off with a fine and made it to the World Cup. Both Pandya and KL Rahul did well in the tournament although they could not take the team all the way in the competition. But since the completion of the tournament, both are once again enduring tougher times.

KL Rahul recently lost his place in the Test team and is now busy playing for Karnataka in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. And with Mayank Agarwal and Rohit Sharma doing well, he is unlikely to get a recall any time soon. On the other hand, Pandya is struggling with a back injury and recently underwent a surgery in London.
And KL Rahul’s latest comment pretty much proves that the recent turn of events have not affected the friendship between the two. It all started when Pandya took to Instagram to update his fans and others about the surgery on his back.
This is when KL Rahul jumped into action and hilariously trolled his teammate, writing:
“Speedy recovery bro. Hope they fixed your brains too. See you soon.”
Meanwhile, Pandya looks set to remain on the sidelines for around 5-6 months. Consequently, he will miss the upcoming home series against Bangladesh and is also doubtful for the tour of New Zealand early next year. KL Rahul, on the other hand, is likely to return to the Indian team for the T20I series against Bangladesh.
