Hasin Jahan reveals Mohammed Shami tried to commit suicide once

On Wednesday, Hasin Jahan, wife of Mohammed Shami said she would drag the Indian fast-bowler to court for cheating on her.
Jahan alleged that the 27-year-old is having several extra-marital affairs. The Indian pacer married Hasin Jahan in 2014. Jahan said that the Indian pacer has been harassing him mentally and physically.
In a bid to expose the Indian pacer, Jahan posted several screenshots of Messenger and Whatsapp messages on her Facebook wall. The photos which were uploaded from an unverified account were captioned ‘Shami’s enjoyment’ and had several pictures of the bowler’s text messages to multiple women.
Apart from alleging that Shami cheated on her and tortured her for several years in their marriage, Hasin Jahan revealed that Shami tried to commit suicide.
Ms. Jahan said:
“Much before the two of us even knew each other, Shami was in a relationship with his phuphi ki nanad ki beti (aunt’s sister-in-law’s daughter) for five years. He even attempted to commit suicide because he wanted to marry her. But his family got in the way and the marriage didn’t happen.”
Jahan also added that Shami abused her physically and mentally soon after their wedding:
“Soon after my marriage, I was abused physically and mentally.”
Jahan also said that Shami’s family forced her to marry him and later tried to kill her:
“I’ve done everything he wanted me to do. I left my modeling career, job and also did not step out of the house. He was planning to abandon me after his South Africa tour by taking away the property and insurance papers. I have been tolerating all this for the past five years. He has been asking for divorce for two years..”
The fast bowler’s wife also said that Shami was only concerned about money and fame:
“I’m not going to divorce him till my last breath. I’ve all evidences against him and will soon drag him to court.”
