Ahead of the game against Bangladesh, Afghanistan skipper Gulbadin Naib has fired a hilarious to the Tigers. Afghanistan are already out of the race for the semifinal spots. On Saturday, the Gulbadin Naib-led side lost their sixth game in a row in the ongoing World Cup. Afghanistan gave India a mighty scare before losing the thriller by 11 runs in Southampton.

Afghanistan had come up with a brilliant bowling effort to restrict the famed batting lineup of India to a modest 224 for 8. In reply, they were in contention throughout the game before losing three wickets on three balls in the final over. With 16 runs needed from the final over, Mohammad Nabi hit the first ball for a four. However, Mohammed Shami took a sensational hat-trick to save India the blushes.

Afghanistan are now up against Bangladesh. Both the teams will lock horns on Monday. Unlike Afghanistan, Bangladesh still have a chance of making it to the semifinal. With 5 points from six games, Bangladesh are currently sixth in the points table. A win against Afghanistan will keep Bangladesh in contention for the semifinal but a loss will pretty much jeopardise their hopes.

And ahead of the showdown, Gulbadin Naib has a fired out a hilarious warning to Bangladesh. When asked about their approach towards Bangladesh, Gulbadin Naib came up with the famous line: “Hum to dube hai sanam, tumko lekar dubenge (We have already drowned darling, but we will take you with us).”

Here is the clip of that hilarious moment:

Afghanistan, meanwhile, have enjoyed good success against Bangladesh in recent times. Last year, they had whitewashed the Tigers in a three-match T20 series. A few months later, Afghanistan had thrashed Bangladesh by 136 runs in an Asia Cup game. Afghanistan will be eyeing another win over Bangladesh and open their account in the tournament.
