T Natarajan has totally justified the faith shown in him by the Indian-team management with his impressive displays in Australia. The left-arm pacer was originally not a part of India’s T20I and ODI squads for the ongoing tour Down Under.

He was selected as a net bowler for the tour after impressing with the ball in IPL 2020. However, fate had planned something else for the pacer. T Natarajan soon found a spot in both the T20I as well as the ODI team after unfortunate injuries to other players and he has made the most of it.

Within a span on one week, he has made his ODI and T20I debut and has been highly impressive. In three games so far, he has picked up seven wickets. On his ODI debut, he picked two wickets and more importantly gave India their first wicket in the powerplay on the tour.

On his T20I debut, he picked three wickets to help India defend 161. And his finest display so far came on Sunday during the second T20I in Sydney. While the other bowlers were being taken to cleaners, T Natarajan looked class apart. In a match, where all the Indian bowlers conceded at least 8 runs per over, he maintained an economy-rate of 5 while picking two wickets.

Danish Kaneria becoming T Natarajan fan:

T Natarajan has become a fan favourite thanks to his humble beginnings and his impressive start in international cricket. And it looks like his fans are not only from India but also from the other side of the border. Former Pakistan spinner Danish Kaneria has lavished praise on the pacer, saying that he is becoming his fan.

Danish Kaneria, who is Pakistan’s highest Test wicket-taking spinner, took to Twitter to praise T Natarajan as well as Hardik Pandya, writing:
