The former cricketer quoted he found similarities among the trio in their work ethic and tremendous consistency. He added Virat Kohli came out as the finest version to Sachin Tendulkar while Prithvi Shaw has ingredients to become another stalwart like Virat Kohli.

He wrote Sachin Tendulkar already received Bharat Ratna and Virat Kohli is making his way to it. Further, he believes Prithvi Shaw got the required talent in him to go places in Indian cricket.

”I am amazed to see the similarities between Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli and Prithvi Shaw. One has already been awarded the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award. The second is following the footsteps of his idol, and now this little dynamite has already sounded out a warning in his first test inning itself,” Sandeep Patil wrote to The Quint.

”The reason I find similarities in these three cricketers is the way they have started their careers. Big hundreds and double hundreds in school cricket, then approaching their way forward carefully and then cautiously taking every opportunity that comes their way and making it big on each and every outing,” he added.

However, as Sandeep Patil said, Prithvi Shaw got the required elements in him to be the best for team India. He already cemented his place for the Australian tour with a century on his debut.
