I Feel Equally Frustrated, Get Angry, Says MS Dhoni On Controlling Emotions
Emotions and MS Dhoni do not really go hand-in-hand. No matter what happens on the cricket field, MS Dhoni makes sure to keep his emotions under check. Unlike his successor Virat Kohli who wears his heart on his sleeve, the former India skipper makes sure to remain calm and composed irrespective of the situation or the result of the game.
No surprises then that many consider him very different from the rest. However, the man himself thinks he is no different than others but is just good at controlling himself. The Captain Cool has had a rollercoaster of a career thus far but one has rarely seen him reacting to it. Speaking for the first time in public since India’s World Cup exit, MS Dhoni said:
“I am like everyone else but I control my emotions better than some of the other individuals.”

Despite remaining away from the hustle and bustle of international cricket, the 38-year old has remained in the spotlight and the reason his future. Speculations are rife that the World Cup-winner could announce his retirement any time. However, MS Dhoni is yet to say anything on the same.
“I would say, I feel equally frustrated. I also feel angry at times, disappointed. But what is important is that none of these feelings are constructive,” said Dhoni about how he deals with tough moments.
“What needs to be done right now is more important than any of these emotions. What is the next thing I can plan? Who is the next individual, whom I can use? Once I get into it, I am controlling my emotions in a much better way,” he added.
The veteran wicketkeeper-batsman has not played since the World Cup semifinal and is unlikely to return to action any time soon. He missed the series against West Indies, South Africa and has also reportedly made himself unavailable for the series against Bangladesh next month,
