Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli and Kings XI Punjab’s skipper KL Rahul were involved in a light-hearted banter ahead of the clash between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kings XI Punjab in match 31 of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020). Both sides will lock horns against each other on Thursday at the Sharjah International Cricket Stadium.
Earlier in the tournament, when the two sides met each other in match 6 of IPL 2020, Kings XI Punjab beat the Royal Challengers Bangalore by a massive margin of 97 runs as their skipper, KL Rahul smashed a gigantic century in the game. While KXIP have failed to make a mark in the tournament from thereon and are on the bottom of the points table, RCB have been on a winning run and are currently on the third spot in the points table.
Virat Kohli And KL Rahul Involved In A Funny Banter Ahead Of Their Clash On Thursday
Virat Kohli hosted a live session for Puma India wherein global sports personalities including Pep Guardiola, Mary Kom, Sunil Chhetri, and KL Rahul were all part of the panel. As soon as the live session was about to end, KL Rahul and Virat Kohli shared a hilarious moment off the field and pulled each other’s legs before concluding the session.

KL Rahul, the KXIP skipper, began the banter and said, “It feels good to know that the only team we have beaten so far is RCB so we will come in the game with a bit more confidence and I have always enjoyed playing with and playing against RCB.”
Virat Kohli, the RCB skipper, was quick to bounce back as he said, “You do know that the loss against KXIP was the worst loss for us this season? We will definitely try to rectify it this time.”
KL Rahul had a hilarious response to this statement as he went on to say, “I just hope that some of your (RCB) fielders drop a couple of more catches.”
Virat responded by saying, “I am going to occupy all those crucial positions where you were dropped in the last game and you might well think twice before hitting us.”
