Team India and Mumbai Indians (MI) all-rounder Hardik Pandya is arguably the best all-rounder in Indian cricket at the moment. He is also an integral member of the Indian squad.

Interestingly, Hardik is just second in the list of most-wickets taken in the ongoing edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) so far. Pandya has also played some sterling knocks with the bat which has helped his team notch up some exceptional victories in the recent past.

However, Indians are in a precarious situation at the moment with five victories from 11 encounters.

In a recent candid interview for the Indians, Hardik said that he was always different from childhood.

“I was born different. When I was 11, I used to colour my hair. Used to get scolding from my mother but would still colour differently the next time. Would give stupid excuses to the coach,” Hardik revealed to his franchise.

Hardik further revealed that he was a very mischievous boy. He used to pick up a fight with any and didn’t have friends in his childhood. It was for him that his elder brother Krunal didn’t have a friend either because if one brother is fighting then the other brother automatically have to support him.

“Because I got into fights, Krunal lost many friends,” said Hardik.

Hardik further revealed that both brothers used to play WWE at home. “Krunal and me used to play WWE. We broke many beds’.

Hardik added that he had too much anger from childhood. However, as he became matured that there is no use of getting angry as it only adds negativity.

However, he revealed that he still gets angry but makes sure that his anger doesn’t affect anyone else.

The younger of the Pandya brothers revealed that he used to believe that he was very ugly from childhood.

“It was around 18-19 years (age) that I used to feel that way. Because I haven’t seen life and I hadn’t seen different kinds of people to know that this is the best colour. I had no clue that skinny people too can also be good-looking,” Hardik maintained.

The Baroda-based all-rounder further added that he didn’t use to believe people who used to say that he was looking good. He used to feel that they were fooling him around.

Hardik also thanked Mumbai Indians for the role they have played in his life.

“MI is the only team which has given me the opportunities that I required in my life. It changed my life to whatever I am right now,” he maintained.

Hardik Pandya has been an asset for the three-time champions and will continue to be an integral part of the team.
