Pakistan were due to host Bangladesh in the third T20I on Monday, however, rain washed away the contest without a single ball being played. This, after the home side led by Babar Azam, had clinched the T20I series 2-0.
Bangladesh were hoping to salvage some pride coming into the third T20, however, it was not meant to be. The rain started pouring down one hour before the toss, and after a couple of hours, match officials had to call the game off.
This, after the Bangla Tigers, fell to a crunching defeat in the series opener courtesy of a brilliant display from all-rounder Shoaib Malik.
In the second T20, Pakistan triumphed again, winning by nine wickets and stamping their authority over their south-Asian rivals.
