West Indies former all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has put his weight behind MS Dhoni. Dhoni has been under the scanner for his recent form and almost all the cricket pundits had lashed out at him after India’s loss against England in the penultimate league match. The talisman batsman had scored 42 runs from 31 balls and his INTENT was questioned as Dhoni didn’t try to go for the target.
In fact, surprisingly Dhoni didn’t go for the target with Kedar Jadhav and he had to draw the flak from the cricket pundits.
Meanwhile, MS Dhoni’s power-hitting abilities are on the wane in the last two years. The right-hander had failed to rotate the strike early on in his innings especially against the spinners.

Dhoni has been a legend.
On the other hand, Dhoni scored two fifties in the ongoing World Cup. The talisman batsman scored 56 runs in the 61 balls in the match against West Indies to add the finishing touches.
Furthermore, Dhoni scored a valiant fifty in the semifinal against New Zealand. The right-hander had kept India in the contest as he was able to get going. Dhoni used all his experience into play and it was a fine knock from the right-hander. The right-hander finished with 273 runs in the tournament. However, Dhoni’s efforts went in vain as India fell short by 18 runs.
Meanwhile, MS Dhoni and Dwayne Bravo share a great bonhomie with each other as Bravo has played under the captaincy of Dhoni in the Indian Premier League for Chennai Super Kings. Moreover, there are reports that Dhoni is contemplating retirement but there is no official confirmation so far.

Dwayne Bravo commentated on ESPN Cricinfo post. Bravo wrote, “Don’t know why some media people, ex-players and others always try to question Mahi performance or his place in the team. Why people just can’t enjoy one of the greatest players to play this game. We are all blessed and lucky to be living in this generation to see him play.
