Host England will go up against an unbeaten Indian side in a must-win clash in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2019 on June 30 (Sunday) at Edgbaston in Birmingham. While England are in dire need to keep their hopes alive to make it to the top-four, India will want to seal the semifinal berth with a win.

England have missed their opener Jason Roy badly in the last few games who was due to a hamstring pull. James Vince, who stepped up in his place has failed miserably which has hurt their batting combination and put pressure on the middle order. With Roy back in the scheme of things, England will hope to play the cricket they have been playing in the last few years against India. While Roy’s introduction lessens some of the worries, Jofra Archer‘s side strain will keep the management on their toes. They will be desperate to field Archer who is scintillating form in the Worl Cup.

On the other hand, India will mull over their shaky middle-order that has come up in the last two games after an excellent start to the World Cup. However, they will have the confidence by their side with an unbeaten streak and will hope to go hard against the host. The bowling has looked in sublime form with Mohammed Shami settling in perfectly and with excellent support from the others.

It will be a mouth-watering encounter at Edgbaston as England will look for revenge against India who recently leapfrogged them to be the top-ranked ODI side.
