On the other hand, Pakistan had won their previous match against South Africa to keep breathing in the tournament. The Men in Green was boosted by the performance of Harris Sohail who had scored a fine knock of 89 runs. In fact, the southpaw batsman was playing his first match of the tournament.

Thus, Pakistan will like to continue their good show in the batting department. However, one concerning point for Sarfaraz Ahmed would be his team’s fielding. Pakistan had dropped as many as seven catches against South Africa and they would aim to pull up their socks against a side like New Zealand.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s pack leader Mohammad Amir is breathing down the neck of the opposition batsmen with his accurate bowling. Amir is currently the leading wicket-taker of the competition with 15 wickets to his name.

New Zealand has ticked the right boxes and they have come up with complete performances. Kane Williamson has been the fulcrum of the team’s batting line-up and he would like to continue his good form going. The stylish batsman has scored 373 runs in the tournament at a staggering average of 186.50.

Furthermore, Ross Taylor has been in sublime form with the bat. The right-hander has scored 200 runs in the tourney and he holds a key for New Zealand. However, New Zealand openers Martin Guptill and Colin Munro aren’t in the best of touch. Hence, the openers will like to turn the tables to give a good platform to their team.
