Sri Lanka and West Indies will lock horns with each other in the 39th match of the World Cup 2019. The Island nation is still in contention but the other results will need to go in their favour. In fact, Sri Lanka will need to win both their remaining matches to stay afloat. We take a look at Sri Lanka’s Predicted Playing XI and Analysis.
On the other hand, West Indies are already knocked out of the tournament. However, Jason Holder-led side will like to end their tournament on a high. Meanwhile, West Indies and Sri Lanka had lost respective last matches and they would aim to bounce back.

The southpaw batsman was dismissed for a golden duck in the previous match of the tournament. Hence, the Sri Lankan captain will aim to make a solid comeback.

The left-hander had scored 30 runs in the last match against South Africa. Thus, the left-hander will aim to convert his start into a big score.

The rookie batsman has impressed with his game in the two matches he has played. Fernando will like to continue his good form going.

The leg-spinner hasn’t had the best of the tournament. Mendis will aim to hit the ground running against West Indies in a do or die fixture.
Thisara Perera

The talisman all-rounder will aim to provide the finishing touches to his team’s total. Perera has the skills to hit the ground running and he would aim to be at his best.
