Sri Lanka and West Indies will lock horns with each other in the 39th match of the World Cup 2019. The Island nation is still in contention but the other results will need to go in their favour. The southpaw batsman was dismissed for a golden duck in the previous match of the tournament. Hence, the Sri Lankan captain will aim to make a solid comeback.
The left-hander had scored 30 runs in the last match against South Africa. Thus, the left-hander will aim to convert his start into a big score.
The rookie batsman has impressed with his game in the two matches he has played. Fernando will like to continue his good form going.
The right-hander hasn’t been consistent with his performances in this World Cup. Mendis had scored 23 runs in the previous and failed to bat big.
The former Sri Lankan skipper has disappointed with his form in the World Cup. Apart from a good knock against England, Mathews hasn’t played any significant innings.
Dhananjaya de Silva
The right-hander had played a poor shot in the previous match against South Africa. Hence, the talented batsman will like to deliver the goods.
The leg-spinner hasn’t had the best of the tournament. Mendis will aim to hit the ground running against West Indies in a do or die fixture.
The talisman all-rounder will aim to provide the finishing touches to his team’s total. Perera has the skills to hit the ground running and he would aim to be at his best.

The left-arm seamer has impressed with his accurate line and length. Udana will look to continue his good work. However, he had gone wicketless in the previous match.
Lakmal had also gone wicketless in the last match against the Proteas. The right-arm seamer will aim to be right on the money.
