ICC World Cup 2019: Twitter Bows Down to Rohit Sharma For Blistering Hundred

India’s vice-captain Rohit Sharma was on song from the very first ball against Pakistan in the ongoing 22nd match of the ICC World Cup. The stylish batsman was able to hit the ground running and timed the ball to perfection. The right-hander batted at the top of his game to brought his 24th ODI hundred.

India’s deputy timed the ball with perfection as he took the role of the aggressor. The right-hander was hitting everything from the middle of the bat and the Pakistan bowlers had no answers to Rohit Sharma’s assault. The talisman batsman was able to get his boundaries at the right time and found the gaps to perfection.

The Indian opener played delightful shots and he was at the top of his game. On the other hand, Rohit Sharma’s new opening partner KL Rahul took his time in the initial stages and took the backseat when Rohit dictated terms to the Pakistan bowlers.

Rohit Sharma latched on to everything that was short and the Pakistan bowlers had to pay the price of bowling short. Meanwhile, Pakistan had their chances when the mix-up between the Indian openers happened in the 10th over.

However, Fakhar Zaman who was the fielder didn’t throw at the right end and Rohit Sharma had a reprieve when he was on 32. Furthermore, there was one more miss-understanding between the Indian openers but Pakistan could not take their chances.

On the other hand, Rohit Sharma batted in the topmost gear and completed his fifty off 35 balls. The right-hander scored nine fours and three sixes in his blistering knock to complete the century 85 balls.

Meanwhile, KL Rahul was dismissed after scoring a well made 57. The Indian openers added 136 for the opening alliance and gave a fine start to India.
