India who are on a roll in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2019 have unveiled their new away jersey before their game against England on June 30. Meanwhile, the Men in Blues have made a thumping start to their ICC World Cup 2019 winning five of the six games so far while one ended in a washout. They recently spoiled the party of West Indies’ party beating them by 125 runs at the Old Trafford.
India unveil Away Jersey
Meanwhile, the buzz surrounding the away jersey has reached its peak since the start of the World Cup. We have witnessed many versions of it created by the fans and had to wait long before getting to see the original one. ICC inspired by FIFA’s home and away jersey has introduced rules now prevent two teams from wearing similar jerseys during a televised match. Only the host can retain its original colours.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday took to Twitter to officially unveil their away jersey. Interestingly, this is the first time the Men in Blues will move away from their traditional blue colour cricket jersey.
There were accusations from the opposition parties that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party pushed its trademark saffron colour on the team. But ICC has cleared that BCCI has opted saffron only to distinguish themselves from England for that game. But the Twitterattis had a whole new take of India’s away jersey and compared it with the uniform of the petrol pump workers.
