India suffered a shocking exit from the semifinals of the ICC World Cup 2019 losing to New Zealand by 18 runs at the Old Trafford in Manchester. Since their ouster from the tournament, India skipper Virat Kohli has been spotted for the first time in the United Kingdom.

Kohli-Anushka spotted in the roads of UK
The Men in Blues failed to chase 240 runs set by New Zealand batting first at Manchester. Half-centuries from Ross Taylor and Kane Williamson had propelled New Zealand to 239 runs in rain-marred first innings. Chasing a modest total, Matt Henry and Trent Boult wrecked havoc with the new ball reducing India to five for three from where Virat Kohli & Co failed to recover. They staged a valiant comeback courtesy two outstanding partnership, but the dismissal of Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni after a 100-run stand was the final nail in the coffin.

Since the shocking defeat, the Indian players have kept themselves under the cover. They have not talked to the media since then. Finally, skipper Virat Kohli has come out and was seen roaming on the streets of the UK with his wife Anushka Sharma. Anushka has been in England for quite some time now to cheer for India in the World Cup. He was at the grounds in Manchester when India went down against the Black Caps.
The power couple were sightseeing in the country as Virat Kohli looked quite disappointed while Anushka Sharma walked by him quietly. The Bollywood actress wore a black t-shirt with ‘Natural Born Lovers’ printed on it and paired it with matching trousers whereas Virat was in a hoodie and denim in black. Both wore exactly similar white shoes to complete their look.

Speaking about India’s future endeavours, the Men in Blues will face West Indies across formats starting from August 3. Virat Kohli is likely to take a break from the limited-overs series while he is likely to be back during the Tests.
