Well, despite being on the headlines for all the wrong reasons in the recent past, the Indian National Team skipper Virat Kohli will enter into the ICC World Cup 2019 on a positive note. The flamboyant batsman Virat Kohli will enter into the grand event as the best batsman in the world, as per ICC ODI Rankings.

The Indian team will enter into the World Cup with a number 1 batsman Virat Kohli and the number one bowler Jasprit Bumrah. The duo will enter into the tournament as the best cricketers as per the ICC ODI rankings.

The second position in the batting chart is also acquired by an Indian batsman, as Rohit Sharma dominated things in the last couple of years. Following Rohit Sharma, New Zealand’s Ross Taylor will enter the tournament as a 3-ranked batsman.

He will be accompanied by Shai Hope and Quinton de Kock in the 4th and 5th position on the ICC table. The duo separated from each other by 5 points.

The last couple of years have been incredible for Jasprit Bumrah in the International Cricket. At present, he is the heart of the current Indian attack. He will enter into the tournament as one of the best death bowlers in the world cricket.

Following Jasprit Bumrah, it is New Zealand’s Trent Boult at 2nd position. Meanwhile Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan is placed third in the chart. The fourth and fifth ranks were occupied by Imran Tahir and Kagiso Rabada.

Coming to the all-rounder’s category, it is occupied by Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh who seals the top place while Rashid Khan of Afghanistan is at third alongside his teammate Mohammad Nabi at 3rd.

Pakistan’s Imad Wasim and Mitchell Santner follow them. The best-ranked all-rounder for India is Kedar Jadhav, who is placed 12th. Meanwhile, the genuine fast bowling-all-rounder Hardik Pandya is at 20th position.
