Indian skipper Virat Kohli and former captain MS Dhoni share a great bond with each other. MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli added 37 runs in quick time and the former dominated the partnership. Dhoni also dominated the strike and scored 27 runs from 14 balls. The right-hander scored three fours and one six in his quickfire knock.

Dhoni blasted Mitchell Starc for a massive six over the deep square leg boundary and the spectator also caught it. Subsequently, Virat Kohli who was at the non-striker gave an epic reaction as he was mighty impressed by the shot of his idol. MS Dhoni has been in fine form in recent past and added the finishing touches to India’s innings.

Meanwhile, India has posted a gargantuan score of 352 runs after Virat Kohli won the toss and decided to bat first. Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma added a fine partnership of 127 runs for the opening wicket. Both the openers took their time in the initial stages of the match and then launched their attack.

Rohit Sharma scored a fine knock of 57 runs as he continued his good form going. On the other hand, Shikhar Dhawan roared back into form as he scored a fine knock of 117 runs from 109 balls with the help of 16 fours in his innings.

Furthermore, Virat Kohli scored a majestic knock of 82 runs from 77 balls to help India post a big score. Moreover, Hardik Pandya provided the finishing touches to the innings as the right-hander blasted 48 runs from 27 balls.

Marcus Stoinis scalped two wickets for Australia whereas Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and Nathan Coulter-Nile took one wicket each. India has got the wickets of both Australian openers and they have put their noses in front in this match as the required run rate is creeping up.
